Sixers Take Game 2 After Controversial Call

The Philadelphia 76ers took game two from the Boston Celtics, but the finish came with a little bit of dramatics as well.


With 10 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, Celtics forward Kevin Garnett was called for an illegal moving screen that gave the 76ers the ball back at a crucial time. In a close game like it was last night, this call couldn’t have come at a worse time for the Celtics.


Now, the series heads to Philadelphia were the 76ers have a chance to take a series lead.

Other news: The Oklahoma City Thunder took the first game of their series with the Los Angeles Lakers after beating them 119-90. Russell Westbrook had 27 points in 27 minutes and Kevin Durant added 25 points. James Harden scored 17 points off of the bench for the Thunder while the Lakers were led by Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum who both had 20 points.
