There is plenty of movement going on in the NBA and the dominos are falling for multiple teams. Aside from the free agent signings, there has been a few trades between the Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors. Initially, the Warriors were set to sign Andre Iguodala to a four-year deal, but a restructured deal will help give them more salary cap flexibility. The Nuggets will receive Randy Foye from the Utah Jazz and the Jazz will receive multiple draft picks, as well as the expiring contracts of Richard Jefferson, Andris Biedrins and Brandon Rush. In the free agency world, after just one season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Dwight Howard is headed to play with the Houston Rockets. The deal will most likely give Howard four years worth about $88 million and an option to become a free agent again after the 2015-16 season. Another piece of the trade that put Howard in a Lakers uniform, center Andrew Bynum has been receiving interest and could be offered a two-year contract by the Cleveland Cavaliers. His lone season with the Philadelphia 76ers was spent dealing with knee injuries that caused him to miss the whole season. Finally, to replace Dwight Howard, the Lakers signed center Chris Kaman to a one-year deal. Kaman averaged 10.5 points per game to go along with 5.6 rebounds per game last year for the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers will also, most likely, amnesty Metta World Peace to save around $30 million in luxury tax fees.
