Author: Priyanka Saxena on Jun 21,2020

2019 was the year that belonged to quarterbacks, even this season most teams are looking forward to having quality QBs in their team. Even, if we look to date NFL MVP awards are won by QBs.

This year is no different as well. Guess, The player who is the top contender for the MVP Award in 2020? He is no other than Star player Patrick Mahomes. But there is still time to decide who will win it.

Even though QB Patrick Mahomes is leading the run, still players like Jackson, Russel Wilson, and Kyler Murray aren't much behind. Tom Brady and Dak Prescott also are in a good position to win the MVP Award. Watson, Wentz, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees are the players who will be there in the competition till the end.

Mahomes is favorite to win many MVP Awards.

Mahomes is doing incredibly well for Kansas City Chiefs, and after that extraordinary performance against San Francisco, he won Super Bowl MVP. Even if he does not get MVP Award this season, still he can get a good contract from Kansas City Chiefs. He is a good player and has the potential to win any award.

Mahomet was among the top contenders even in the previous year, but he had a terrible knee injury, so he could not participate in many matches and hence he could not win the MVP Award last season.

Can Jackson make it twice in a row?

It was never easy for Jackson to win the award previous season. He had all the expectations on his shoulder which only gave him pressure. The fact is only such kind of pressure makes a player a superstar. He played very well and answered all the questions through his game.

If we look at the career of Jackson, he looked pretty-much average but in the 2019 campaign, he proved what he was. When he entered the tournament of 2019 he was just a good player but in that season he broke and made few records. He was setting new standards for the players that season. The man who started that player as an average player ended up with more than 3000 passes and near about 35-40 touchdowns. He broke the record of Micheal Vick and now is one of the best players in the league.

Jackson is likely to make a good come back and help his team in winning matches. Right now Baltimore Ravens look out of form and if Jackson plays well they can surely make it till playoffs this season. With his presence, Baltimore Ravens can become a real lethal team in the tournament for others.

Tom Brady is the dark horse for his new team in NFL 2020

Tom Brady will now play for Tampa Bay, and he has left his old team New England which is a very interesting decision. Now let us take a look at the odds and how they have changed. When he started playing for the Buccaneers, he had +2800 which now is +1200. This will have various effects on the Super Bowl odds board.

Tom is now in the mid-40s still he has all the stuff which is required to be the best offensive player of his side. Switching to Tanpa will help him play more freely as he will get the best offensive player in the league to assist him.

Murray has that all which is needed to win the MVP Award this season

Murray has great skill sets and a good calm composed brain that makes him the topmost player of the league. He has evolved to be a better player and his chances have drastically increased to be the number one player of his side. Due to those efforts, his odds have reduced from +2000 to +1000. Murray won't show his class with a roar, but he is that silent killer who can destroy you and you won't even know when and how he did it. He is a very busy player on the ground.

No one can ever forget his best rookie season even though Cardinals’ were 5-10-1. Arizona is the team that can pull anything from its box. They can surely do many things and look very confident this season. So now things are falling at its place, and now we can understand the reason behind the respect which was given to a new playmaker.

Let us see which of the above players gets that MVP Award this season.
