Ryquell Armstead, the Jaguars running back is facing severe coronavirus complications. This news spread like a wildfire when it came out that Armstead may have to sit for the rest of the NFL season because of this medical condition he is faced with. Before this, the running back star has had a mention on the NFL’s reserve/COVID-19 list two times. Because of the coronavirus, he has not been able to play the season. With a number of issues, he has been facing due to the coronavirus he might be sidelined by the NFL.

Ryquell Armstead Next NFL season.

In the case of Ryquell Armstead being the most alarming coronavirus case, it is less likely that he will be returning back for the next season, however, as of now, we can’t make a prediction.

It was first in  August that Armstead was faced with the COVID-19 symptoms and he landed on the COVID-19 list. It was when he had missed the 19 days (because of a groin injury and coronavirus) for the game that he was sidelined and was placed on the COVID-19 reserved list.

During that period he fought back the groin problem but he again got affected by the coronavirus in September and was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list for the second time. He had a number of medical issues to the virus and the respiratory illnesses were one of the most alarming ones, which is one of the worst conditions caused due to the coronavirus.

Armstead at the beginning of the Season.                                                                                                                                            When Armstead came to play at the beginning of the season -- he was full of confidence and excited to take on the game. The 23-year, 220-pound &  220-pound star player came with a lot of confidence about being the starting running back for the season. The talent he stupendously showed during the last season in 2019 was what made Jaguars feel excited about getting him back on the fields. There is no guarantee as to when Armstead would get recovered. At this point in time, the most important thing is his health.

In addition to Armstead’s deteriorating condition, there have been a number of other cases of coronavirus across different teams. With the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders experiencing the outbreak even before week 7,  this has been a roller coaster ride for the NFL. One of the worst was the Tennessee Titans’ outbreak where 23 members including staff & players got affected by the virus. As a result of this, the organization also had to face a huge fine.

Fortunately, all of them have been lucky to have recovered & fought the coronavirus. Let’s hope for the better recovery of Armstead. His worsening situation is a kind of a signal to the NFL that it has not yet stopped, it can completely paralyze your mind & body. We need to take all the precautions and stay alert all the time.

We can only hope for Armstead to recover quickly. But we can be sure that he will not be playing for the remainder of the season. This is going to be a big loss for the Jaguars and they must now be alarmed with what happened to Armstead.
