The Super Bowl is Set

The match up for the Super Bowl is set and the battle in New York will be between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. Peyton Manning led the Broncos to a 13-3 record in the regular season and threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns in the 26-16 victory over the New England Patriots in the conference finals to push them to the Super Bowl game. The Seahawks have been a formidable team all season long, also finishing with a 13-3 regular season record behind Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and a daunting defense that was first in the league against the pass. That defense will definitely get the biggest test as they get to face Manning, a man who had records in passing yards and touchdowns this season (5,477 and 55 respectively). It is sure to be a match up that will be intriguing to watch because of the teams involved, the coaches involved and the fact that it will be played in the New York weather. You can watch the game on Sunday, February 2, 2014. Image by BlueberryFiles on Flickr
