Peyton Manning Breaks TD Record

Author: Priyanka Saxena on Jul 28,2017

Peyton Manning has broken Brett Favre's record for most touchdowns thrown by an NFL quarterback ever. He currently has 513. Favre’s mark was 508. The closest to Manning and the record among active players are Tom Brady and Drew Brees, tied with 377. As both are older, it doesn’t look likely that anyone will be eclipsing Peyton’s record anytime soon.

Records aside, Manning has a highly anticipated matchup against rival Brady this Sunday. There has been great debate as to where each stands in the ranking of greatest NFL players of all time. Does the TD record make a difference? or is it the head-to-head battle that truly determines who comes out on top? In either case, you can be sure that Manning and Brady have only one thing on their minds heading into Sunday’s game. Coming away with a W.
