The Ryder Cup — the biennial men's golf competition is played between teams from the United States and Europe. With the sport played every two-years the venue for the game is chosen alternatively between Europe and the United States. It was an English businessman named Samuel Ryder — after whose name Ryder Cup followed. Over the years, the Ryder Cup has become the most popular sporting event in the world. In the game, 24 creams of the crop teams from the United States & Europe together entertain their fans with intense, dramatic, exciting, and incredible game of golf.

Will Ryder Cup 2020 Delay Until 2021?

The Ryder Cup 2020 season is slated to happen from 25-27 September. But, many experts are claiming that it may not happen for the obvious reasons — COVID-19 outbreak. According to the sources, most players are suggesting a delayed season — maybe it should happen in the next year. World popular players are worried about how the game is going to happen with social distancing at the forefront of everything. They are assuming that it is not going to happen anytime soon & there are chances of the Ryder Cup 2020 season postponed until 2021. This is the only way, the players could play with the same zeal in front of the fans cheering and shouting for their favorite players at play.

Many players are also assuming that this can be considered a sign of the Ryders Cup happening as per the date decided. But, it is just one end of the thought — the majority of players are looking out for a postponement of the game until 2021. The key reason is the absence of fans with COVID-19 at the forefront. Without fans cheering in the background that magic will also look absent and the meaning of having the game played will presumably be lost. There’s no point in trying to make the Ryder Cup happen if the players are not happy about organizing the golfing event without fans in the background & with COVID-19 at the top of our heads.
