If you were watching the Masters, you saw eventual winner Bubba Watson using a pink Ping driver.
Now, you can own a similar club as Ping has announced they will be selling 5,000 limited-edition G20 drivers, complete with pink shaft and head. The best part is five percent of the sales (the drivers sell for $439) will go to a fundraising campaign called “Bubba Long in Pink. Driven by Ping.”
Ping donated $10,000 to go along with an extra $300 for every drive that has been hit by Watson this year. Currently, the campaign has reached $61,600 generated for charity.
In January, Watson also launched his own “Bubba & Friends Drive to a Million” campaign in an attempt to raise $1 million for charities over the course of the year.
The lefty won his first green jacket, defeating Louis Oosthuizen on the second extra hole; the first time in 10 years a left-hander won the Masters. The 33-year-old is now ranked No. 4 in the world and the highest-ranking American in golf today.
