Top Betting Picks and Predictions: Bundesliga Round 29

Author: Mansi

It's a brimming seven day stretch of Bundesliga move after midweek play made a spot on both Tuesday and Wednesday and, Matchday 29 commencing on Friday evening among Freiburg and Leverkusen.

While neutrals are likely washed out that Dortmund neglected to close the gap with Bayern in the title race in their 1-0 loss Tuesday, there's still bounty to be chosen and an intense Top 4 race to play for.

We're currently three rounds into the continuation of the Bundesliga and the subject of the estimation of home-field keeps on picking up footing. What's more, inclination might be too light a word. Road teams have had overwhelmingly more achievement up to this point with a 12-10-5 (WDL) record. Will the outcomes start to adjust?

We look forward to the end of the week and attempt to segregate some smartest bets.

Friedburg vs Leverkusen

Disappointingly rising high, Friedberg failed to secure a 2-goal lead conceding twice in 3 minutes. Something similar happened 2 weeks ago when they had a 1 goal lead against RB Leipzig with that game ending in a 1-1 draw. Similar to a kind. Initials were tremendous in the 1st half to their losing just 2 in the opening 12 top-flight league fixtures. They are struggling to make their space now to find their best form.

Striving for their first win after the return of Bundesliga. The main target is to avoid exemption, currently sitting on 8th is a tremendous achievement. The power seems to be vanishing. As of now impossible for them to win the European position but standing somewhere in the 1st half would be a great finish.

On the other side, the team Leverkusen’s are in an era of winning with 11 wins in 12 games so far. Coming to end losing 4-1 to Wolfsburg and flagging down to 5th place becoming equal on points with 4th placed Gladbach. Sitting 7 points clear at the top, the title race might be finished after leaders Bayern Munich won against Dortmund. But there’s plenty to play with 4 teams fighting for 3 Champions League spots. There’s only a 4-point gap between 2nd placed Dortmund and 5th placed Leverkusen. Still, with 6 rounds to go till the end of the story.

We are expecting Leverkusen to come back and win this game with the boss's men being eager to make amends in Freiburg. As they cannot drop points in the tight UCL top-4 finish battle. Kavin Volland still injured, we are expecting Kai Havertz to lead the attack once again. Expecting this poor record of Leverkusen to break. Leverkusen hasn’t won from Freiburg, since, 2011, hoping the story will end this Friday.

Hertha Berlin vs Augsburg

9 goals in 3 games winning 7 points in the process. How did this happen? The one proving his skills is Bruno Labbadia. To have a big win. They pulled up the rope of upset, keeping RB Leipzig to a 2-2 draw in the midweek round.

Ausburg failed to beat bottom side Paderborn being kept to a goalless draw. The fight continues to avoid relegation. They picked 4 points in their previous 2 games. With now sitting 4 points above the red zone. Ausburg did well to beat Schalke 3-0 on the road 2 rounds ago. The time for team Schalke is running hard. It was easy to beat them, as they lost 5 consecutive away games failing to score in 4 of them.

Titled with Belgium international Dedryck Boyata hitting a fine form in recent weeks and with Hertha’s attack scoring goals for fun, we expect a home win. The host has kept a clean sheet in 2 recent league matches. We expect Ausburg to struggle to find spaced and contribute to the scoreboard.

Bayer’s Munich vs. Fortuna Düsseldorf

Sixteenth-place Fortuna kicks off a four-match run against the top four contenders. With the need for a surprise or two along the way to the two winnable fixtures at the end of the season. Bayern has basically stopped in losing under Hansi Flick, and its 15-match losing streak won't end here. Robert Lewandowski didn't score in a league match for simply the 6th time this season in Tuesday's Der Klassiker win.

Schalke vs Werder Bremen

One of four matches to kick off at 9:30 am EST on Saturday sees ninth-place Schalke hosting 17th-place Werder Bremen.

Seeing for the first time may look weak. Though it will not produce fireworks, but definitely for betting.

With three-straight losses, no team has emerged from the break-in worse than Schalke. The Royal Blues came with a blast 4-0 and 3-0 by Dortmund and Augsburg respectively, followed by Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat to Fortuna Düsseldorf. While they managed to break the stalemate 53 minutes into the match, they quickly conceded goals in 63′ and 68′ to extend a streak which made them run winless in nine matches. They’ve also lost five of six.
