Some Great Moments from MLB Regular Season 2021
One of the best stories of the regular season would be Trey Mancini playing it all, let alone at a pretty respectable mark. Another great moment would be what his teammate, Cedric Mullins, did recently. He recorded the first 30-30 seasons in the history of the franchise. This player was on the bubble for making probably the worst baseball team this year entering the spring. For him to then chart this season is highly impressive and rightly deserves the praise and the spotlight. That is why the fans enjoyed seeing the Orioles allowing the player to take the field independently. The team gave him his moment and a lasting image for the fans in the process.
Most die-hard and lifelong Cubs fans will vouch for their soul-crushing moment of the season as Javier Baez, Kris Bryant, and Anthony Rizzo traded within a single day. The perfect parting shot for the fans was seeing all three of them score home runs in their first games with their new teams. It was a very apt let go and move on movement for most of the fans. These can be seen more as three moments than one, especially because it was several consecutive days instead of the same day. But the impact on the fans was the same. Another easy moment for the fans to answer is when Francisco Lindor tried to hush away a clubhouse tunnel fight with Jeff McNeil by stating that they were debating whether they had just seen a rat or a raccoon. Let us think about that for a second. Lindor explained that the possible reason for a heated argument with his teammate in the tunnel was the taxonomy of a rodent. Possibly one of the most dramatic moments of the season for sure.
