Basketball Player Loses His Shorts, But Wins the Game

It’s all in the name. March Madness is upon and things get, well, crazy. During a competitive First Four game on Wednesday Dayton Flyer player Dyshawn Pierre lost his shorts while grabbing a rebound in the second half. They just fell right off.

Dayton was down at home to Boise State before pulling up and making a comeback to win the game 56-55 on a buzzer-beater three-pointer. Pierre, much like his team, found a way to recover. He pulled up his red shorts with one hand while dribbling the ball up court with the other. That’s commitment to the game.

Boise State may have been disappointed to come away with a loss in a game they were leading by 7 with just over 3 minutes to go, but their cheerleaders certainly enjoyed the show. Look at them gasping in the background as Pierre drops his drawers.
