It was a performance to remember for junior quarterback Blake Bortles of UCF as he led the Knights to a 52-42 victory over the Baylor Bears last night in the Fiesta Bowl. Bortles threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns while adding 93 yards and one touchdown on the ground. The junior, who will now begin contemplating a jump into the NFL, helped pull off the upset for the No. 15 Knights as they took down a high-powered No. 6 Baylor team that had gone most of the year with little challenges in the way. Quarterback Bryce Petty did all he could to try and keep Baylor in the mix by throwing for 356 yards and two touchdowns, but it just wasn't enough. After going score for score for most of the game, the Bears just weren't able to come through at the end as they fall to a 52-35 score before adding a late touchdown. The Bears finish the season 11-2 while the Knights go 12-1 in a very impressive showing.
