The Super Bowl LV 2021 has set the stage but there are some massive changes in appearing teams that can make anyone biting their nails off. The teams are ready for regular seasons to appear in the playoffs and then facing each other for the annual championship.

The Super Bowl is the culmination of the playoffs that host 14 teams, 7 teams from each conference of the NFL i.e. NFC (National Football Conference), and AFC (American Football Conference). Amid the upheaval that the coronavirus outbreak caused, many leagues and championships had to put a pause, the regular season and the Super Bowl LV luckily survived and will kick off on 7 February 2021.

However, the Bucs seem to have a strong urge to win the championship this season.

On 17 March 2020, Tom Brady - former Patriots Quarterback - said adios to its club via a Twitter post, and signed Tampa Bay on 20 March 2020 later posted on his Instagram profile.

Meanwhile, where every other NFL expert has their own opinion on Tom’s signing, the fans' curiosity is bubbling up if Tom Brady could make it this Super Bowl’s season with Buccaneers.

Tom Brady’s Career Performance:

Tom began his career at New England Patriots as a starting quarterback when Drew Bledsoe met with an injury. Tom Brady has played his first 20 seasons with Patriots and has been one of the two quarterbacks to win the Super Bowl season as a starting QB and has played in the Super Bowl nine times.

The list of his achievements, in his last 20 seasons, is quite long that includes being 6 times Super Bowl Champion, 4 time Super Bowl MVP, three times NFL most valuable Player, 14 times Pro Bowl and on and on, not forgetting that he has also been declared as NFL Athlete of the Decade in 2010, by Sporting News.

Coming to his statistics, he has done a great job. Tom has 6,377 completions out of 9,988 attempts for 74,571 yards with 541 touchdowns and 179 interceptions. His overall completion percentage is 63.8 until 2019.

There is no doubt that the Patriot had one of the best quarterbacks in their team who made them win 17 division titles than any other QB in NFL history. Patriot’s been an NFL 2000 All-Decade team, which gets calculated upon the player’s or coach’s outstanding performance in the last ten years.

Before coming to the debate if Brady can make the Bucs win, let’s take a look at how Buccaneers were doing without him.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Last Year’s Performance

In 2003, Tampa Bay won its first Super Bowl XXXVII title and couldn't find any luck since then. However, they have won the division championships six times and appeared in ten playoffs.

In the last year season, Jameis Winston - former Quarterback of Buccaneers - had 380 completions out of 626 attempts with a completion rate of 60.7

He also made the record of being the first quarterback in NFL history to throw 33 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in a season.

And this leads us to another point. Even after great numbers and records, why Tampa Bay couldn’t make it to the Super Bowl last season.

Weaknesses of Tampa Bay

If you watch Tampa Bay’s last season performance, you will find that Winston (former QB) - whose weakness is decision-making and some studies argue that it's losing control on football rather than decision-making - often sinks the team.

It has also been found in the conclusion of an interview, with Bleacher Report's Adam Lefkoe, that Jameis can make ‘wow’ throws undoubtedly, but his carelessness is a threat to the team.

Moreover, another point that weakens Bucs is their defense, which has young and inexperienced players. Tampa Bay has been struggling with weak defense from the last decade. Buccaneers Defensive coordinator admitted in an interview that the young players such as linebacker Devin White, cornerbacks Jamel Dean and Sean Murphy and more

have to grow mentally to understand what offense is trying to do with them.

He also said that they have grown physically, but they are mentally puppies, still.

Is Tom Brady’s the Right Choice

The outstanding history of Brady’s past performance is not doubtful at all, and it will be justified if you call the Bucs the best team now. It is crystal clear that the sole intention to sign Brady is to win the Super Bowl for the Bucs (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) this season and Brady’s record and 20 years of experience is no joke.

The history told that the Patriots have seen continuous development in their game after Tom’s arrival, and they even became one of the successful teams in NFL history after his joining. These two points are the evidence that Buccaneers have a good time ahead with Brady.

Tom’s age and experience with the new team can be a roadblock to his title win but the weights on Buccaneers win still appear to be heavier than these roadblocks.

However, some sources have said there is no guarantee that one who has performed unexpectedly in the past will keep performing best without any decline. Tom’s age and experience with the new team can be a roadblock to his title win but the indications of Buccaneers win are still higher than these roadblocks.
