The NFL Free Agency period is well underway and one of the bigger surprises has been the Dallas Cowboys making All-Pro DeMarcus Ware a cap casualty. It wasn't going to be long, though, before Ware found a new home and today, he agreed upon a deal with the Denver Broncos for 3 years and $30 million. The deal will also give him $20 million in guaranteed money. Ware was with the Cowboys for 9 seasons in which he recorded 117 sacks, putting him atop the Dallas leaderboard for that category. The Broncos -- who made a playoff run last season that led to a Super Bowl loss -- have also added cornerback Aqib Talib and safety T.J. Ward to their defense, but Ware provides a factor that has been dominant in the league for quite some time to bolster the young talent already on the unit. The hope for the Broncos is to get the defense stronger and make another run at the Super Bowl, and Ware is the kind of talent -- along with Talib and Ward -- that could push Denver to that next level. Ware recently had two bone chips removed from his elbow, but all signs are pointing to that injury doing well and there being no setbacks. The deal is still pending a physical, but odds are it will go through without a hitch and Ware will take his place in Denver shortly.
