Korean League: Soccer Picks and Predictions Week 6

K League is doing well and now we have reached Week number 6 in no time. It is good to watch teams are giving a good fight and showing the urge to win the title. Let us take a look at some interesting matches of week number 6.

Ulsan Hyundai vs. Seongnam Ilhwa!

If someone asks, you about destruction or complete dominance, you should suggest they watch the Ulsan's performance against the Pohang. They made it clear to all that they are not here to play but to compete. 

Ulsan showed complete control over the match and in the end won the match comfortably with a 4-0 margin. Ulsan just looked as if they were in a mood of taking revenge for what Pohang did to them in the finals of 2019. 

The first half was where Ulsan gained momentum and took the lead 2-0, in the second half the game was quite slow and looked like a cat and mouse chase. To end the suspense of the game Kim made the score 3-0. It was the 75th minute of the game. 

Negrao joined the party by scoring the 4th goal. Junior Negrao is the highest goal scorer in this tournament so far. He has been doing well this season, he scored 6 goals in the span of 5 matches which he played.

Coming from such a strong win, Ulsan is really looking confident and now their battle is against Seongnam. Ulsan will host the tournament. After a good performance, you obviously feel great, and that is where the chances of casualty and taking the wrong decisions increases. 

On the other hand, Seongnam will look to gain their confidence back as they had lost their previous game against Daegu that too at home stadium. However, it was a pretty good tournament for them before this match, it was the first loss which they faced this season. 

If we look at the head-to-head matches, Ulsan has defeated Seongnam for consecutive two times and Ulsan will look forward to this match to make a hat trick of wins. Seongnam has a quality defense and has a good team combination. Ulsan definitely has the potential to take down their defense and perform like leading the scorers of the tournament.  

Jeonbuk Motors vs. Incheon United

Defending champions of the K league Jeonbuk Motors are still performing like champions this season. They have cemented their first place by defeating FC Seoul 4-1 in their previous match. So far it has been a great season for Motors, they have won four matches, and in return conceded only on three of the five matches they played.

Motors are looking very confident, whereas, Incheon United needs their lost confidence back. So, far it has been a terrible season for Incheon United they are right at the bottom of the table losing three matches in a row. Now they have a great challenge ahead of them. United have to defeat Motors, that too on the home conditions of Motors.

Head to Head seems pretty much one-sided in the favor of the Jeonbuk Motors. Even if we look at the stats of both teams this season, Incheon United has managed to score only in two of their five matches, and Jeonbuk Motors have only let the opponent score in three of their five matches. 

So, it won't really be a matter to panic for Jeonbuk's defense. It will be a pretty straight forward game for Jeonbuk and won't be hard for them to win their fifth match of the season to stay as a table topper. 

On the other hand, the United States has to work really hard and try to overcome the mistakes which they made in the past and look to play this game with full enthusiasm. You never know even if they can give motors a major upset this season.

Sangju Sangmu vs. Pohang Steelers.

Sangmu is the undefeated team, so far, this season. In the points table, they are midway in ranking but not much behind concerning the points. Sangmu is one of those teams who will always do some in and out work regarding their team. Sangmu loves to champion their team combination almost every season.

Pohang, on the other hand, was completely destroyed by the Ulsan in their previous game. Pohang will still try to make a good come back as they had a good season, so far. They should focus on their positives and do everything to win this game against Sangmu.

Both the teams are almost in the same position on the points table. Sangmu still has a better chance of winning this game and making a difference in the points table.
