Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL): How To Bet?

2. Fubon Guardians

3. Rakuten Monkeys

4. Uni-President 7-11 Lions

The current champion is Rakuten Monkeys and has won around 6 titles. However, the team to hold the most titles in the league is Uni-President 7-Eleven Lion, winning a total of 9 titles. Besides the Rakuten Monkeys and Uni-President 7-Eleven Lion, the other contenders vying for a title in this four-team league are the Fubon Guardians and Chinatrust Brothers (which were runner-up last year). 

How long is the season? 

The Season comprises 120 Games, with two 60 game half seasons for playoff formatting.

Over the last few years, Baseball has become one of the most popular viewed sports worldwide and in China too. Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions

The team does have some fine talent, but it is untapped because of their mismanagement and poor front-office decision coupled with having problems in spending money. They seemed to be struggling in every aspect of the game last year and were the lowest-scoring team last season.

Fubon Guardians

Though undeniably they have the best line up and rotation in the league and also the best winning percentage in last year’s season somewhat they lack the zest required for winning. They scored second-fewest runs per game last year. 

To sum it up, as per the winning streak, Rakuten Monkeys seems to be a good bet. However, if you are going as per a balanced team, then Fubon Guardians and CTBC Brothers seem to be a brilliant choice. While the possibility is also there that Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions emerge as an underdog team going by the fact their winning record of 9 games to date and their desire to toss down the current winning team Rakuten Monkeys that defeated them in last season and take their revenge.
