Alabama is on top of the CFP rankings (College Football Playoff rankings). Notre Dame, Clemson, and Ohio State followed Alabama. BYU debuts, despite the 9-0 start to its season could make it to the no. 14. Among all the four SEC teams in the top ranking, Georgia was on the top. Four of the SEC teams, which appeared on the CFP ranking were Crimson Tide, Texas A&M, Florida & Georgia. The Bearcats have won the league over SMU, Memphis, UCF, Houston, East Carolina, and South Florida. And, Bearcats will visit Tulsa, which debuted at No. 25 in the CFP rankings.

Here’s what BYU coach Kalani Sitake said.

Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, all 2020 scheduled games that were to be played against Stanford, Utah, Michigan State, Missouri, Arizona State, and Minnesota -- were all canceled. BYU, as an FBS independent, rescheduled its games to only win against Boise State, Houston, Navy, and Troy. BYU won all but one of its games by 17 or more points. BYU coach Kalani Sitake, talking about the game said, "Great motivation for our guys. Love our team, love our players -- I think we play a great brand of football with excitement and passion, and we have a lot of work to do and a lot to prove, obviously, in a short amount of time, and hopefully, we can get that done."

Cougars are left with only two one regular-season game that is scheduled to be played on December 12 against San Diego State. This week, both in the AP and coaches' polls -- BYU is at no. 8. Sitake in a statement said, “BYU had an opportunity to play Washington this week, but it just didn't work out for whatever reason. There's this narrative out that we were hiding or ducking or waiting, and that's just not true. It is a false narrative. I want to make sure everybody understands that we aren't afraid of anybody. ... We have two weeks left that are open, Dec. 5 and 19, that we're willing to play football -- and if there's anybody that actually has the availability to play those games, we would like to do it."
