The 3M Open Tournament is a professional golf tournament that is played every year in the month of July. It is a new era in the world of MN golf. This tournament is an official PGA Tour partner and a part of the FedEx Cup series. It brings together the best golfers from across the world, which makes it more exciting for golf enthusiasts. 

 

This year, the 3M Open is back with a new tournament. The game will be held from July 19-25, 2021, at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Scroll further to know more about the tournament.

3M Open Tournament Fare

 

3M Open Tournament is partnering with Mastercard to provide the attendees with a contactless payment facility. This will help the guests to make seamlessly safer payments without coming in contact with anyone. No cash will be accepted onsite. Tickets should also be purchased online before the official start of the tournament. There will be no ticket counter at the course.

Things To Know Before You Go

 

Gate Hours: The gates will open at 8 AM on Tuesday and 6:30 AM from Wednesday to Sunday.

Parking Facility: There will be parking available at the National Sports Center for the 3M Open Tournament attendees. To get access to the parking, you have to purchase a parking pass. The parking lot doors will be open at 7:45 AM on Tuesday and 6:15 AM from Wednesday to Sunday. For disabled attendees, the ADA bus service will also be available. 

 

Autographs and Players Meeting: Because of the current pandemic situation, there will be no autograph or player’s meeting session this year. Guests can see the players from a distance. 

 

Preventive measures: 3M Open Tournament will take place with all the safety and security measures to offer its players, audience, and other members a safe experience. There will be hands-free sanitizer pumps throughout the course for safety, availability of masks near the gates, durable protective film on all the touch surfaces, digital ticketing, and more.

 

Security Check: Before entering the course, all the guests must go through a security check. General checking will be done along with bag check while keeping in mind social distancing.
