Barracuda Championship Set To Take Place August 5 To August 8

Barracuda Championship is a professional golf event on the PGA Tour in California. It was founded back in 1990, and since then, it is played every year in the month of August. Earlier in the 1940s, a golf tournament known as the Reno Open was played. After nearly 80 years since then, the Reno–Tahoe Open is back again this year.

 

This championship is an official PGA TOUR tournament that will take place from August 2-8, 2021. However, the field will open from August 5, 2021, to the general public. It will feature the Modified Stableford scoring format that will make watching the Barracuda Championship a surreal experience. Barracuda Championship FAQs

 

Q1. If I want to find my favorite golfer, how can I do so?

Ans. To help the visitors find their favorite golfer, Electronic scoreboards will be installed all across the course. This will provide all the required information about the match.

 

Q2. Are food and drinks allowed inside the golf course?

Ans. The answer is No. Unfortunately, visitors cannot bring their own food and drinks. There will be ample options available inside the course from where you can make the purchase. Only the smaller bags, less than  6” x 6” x 6”, are allowed to be taken inside.

 

Q3. Will the Barracuda Championship host fans this year?

Ans. Yes, the tournament will host fans this year but with limited capacity. We will create a safe environment for everyone. 

 

Q4. Will there be a parking facility available for the visitors?

Ans. Yes, parking will be available but with limited slots. There will be various lots throughout the course, but a separate parking pass is required in advance. 

 

Q5. What are the health & safety protocols taken by the course?

Ans. Barracuda Championship is taking serious health and safety protocols for providing a safe and secure environment to all the attendees, players, and other individuals at the course. Here are the protocols that will be followed:

1. Masks will be provided upon request.

2. A hands-free sanitizer station will be available all across the cross.

3. Social distancing is required to be maintained on the course during and after the game.

4. All the tickets will be digitally signed.

5. The whole course will be cleaned and sanitized before the tournament and after each day of play.
