Wimbledon wrapped up this past weekend and the winners come as no surprise. The number one mens and womens seeds, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams respectively, were left standing holding the trophies at the end of the tournament.

Williams captured her 21st major championship, leaving her just one slam away from tieing Stefi Graf for second most all time, and helping her to complete her second "Serena Slam," winning 4 majors in a row. Only three other people have ever done that. The win leaves Serena just one major championship away from completeing the calander year slam, which she can bring home in New York at the US Open in 7 weeks.

Djokovic took down legend Roger Federer in the final on Sunday in 4 sets.

Mark you calanders for the US Open. it should be a good one.
