For the initial three decades, the tournament took place at Wethersfield Country Club. Later in 1984, the golf course shifted to TPC River Highlands. From then on, the championship has been played on the same course.
The Greater Hartford Community Foundation is in charge of the golf course management. It is an exceptional course with a unique layout and sensitivity to nature. In accordance with CDC guidelines, the PGA Tour has created several measures to ensure a secure environment and excellent golf tournament experience. 1. There will be no separate bag-check area where you can leave your prohibited bags and items. Hence, you should carry only unrestricted items.
2. This year, there will be no interaction with the players. Autographs, handshakes, fist bumps, or selfies are not permitted. Instead, fans are required to watch them from a distance.
3. Regardless of CDCs guidelines - “No mask for fully vaccinated people,” everyone in the golf course should keep their masks on because of the massive crowd.
4. All the transactions course-wide will be contactless. Visitors should purchase the tickets through mobile ticketing.
