Second Win for Brad Keselowski in a Week at Bristol Motor

This is the second win for Brad Keselowski in a week’s time. The latest win came on Monday at the Supermarket Heroes 500 at Bristol. He played a wonderful game crushing away wildly in the first short-track race after the season resumed.

This winning spree of Keselowski began over Memorial Day weekend when he won at the Charlotte Motor Speedway at the Food City 500 at Bristol. He fought to win over Clint Bowyer seizing the lead.

In this season of the race, Keselowski is the first driver who won both — the race itself and poll for the race. With this win, he becomes ready to join the group of Denny Hamlin & Logano who are only racers in the Cup Series to have won two times this year. Now, Keselowski will also be there in the second position in the standings.

Asked about this win, Keselowski said that “I felt like I was in Las Vegas. I went from having a bad hand to a full house real quick,” he said. “We were in position and able to strike when it counted. Joey and Chase got together there. I don’t know what all caused it, but we were just in a position to strike and here we are in victory lane.”

Here’s a game recap:

It gave a chance to Chase Elliott and Joey Logano to lead the race with Denny Hamlin crashing after there were 11 lapses to go.

It gave a chance to move into the first position with just three laps to go, steering Logano into the wall.

In real, Logano and Elliott Finished at 21st and 22nd positions respectively and Clint Bowyer finishing second.

Here’s what Logano said after the race finished. "Elliott wrecked me, he got loose underneath me. I had to force an apology, which to me is just childish...be a man and take the hit when you're done with it”

While luck was on Keselowski's side in two races he won, he must be more prepared and more mindful of the upcoming game. He must make himself ready to take advantage of these wins. Keselowski had a bit of luck on his side for the second week in a row, but he has got to perform well enough to put himself in a position taking advantage of those breaks.

Keselowski's next game is going to be the Folds Of Honor QuikTrip 500, which is slated for June 7. He is hoping to win his third race in a row with the Honor QuikTrip 500.

Let’s wait for another swashbuckling win by Keselowski.
